PCB Spacers

To fix the PCBs in the robots, spacers are used. These spacers have snapfits on both sides which can be pushed in the holes on the PCBs and the middle and top plates. Because of the snap-fits, we do not have to use screws to keep the PCBs in place. This makes it easier to take off the PCBs and put them back on. We use three types of spacers. Namely:

  • 3,2 mm: 3x To connect the power board to the top plate ( 701510500)
  • 11,1 mm: 4x To connect the top board to the top plate ( 701513000)
  • 34,9 mm: 3x To connect the the kicker/chipper board to the middle plate ( 701518500)

These spacers can be ordered at Würth Elektronik. Make sure to order a lot of spare ones, since we tend to lose quite some spacers whilst driving around.
